This dream that I was able to materialize, which is constantly evolving, came from the heart of a noble girl, who has dedicated much of her adult life to help those who need it most, to foster empathy in those we know, she has worked with children since its inception as a graduate in early childhood education, she always dreamed of having a place where she could receive them and develop strategies to improve their quality of life.
One day on the couch in her house she invited me to work with her, she told me that I would like it, that it would be something new for me, but at the same time very rewarding, which left me in expectation, however I went the next day at the time she had indicated, that day I arrived at a small office in which we had a small meeting about my functions there, my surprise was when she additionally said that we would be in charge of 200 children, wow! It was my reaction.
let me explain, I am not a mom yet, in fact I don't have siblings, but I have many cousins, so that was more or less close to having an idea of what it was like to be with so many children, I know that in numbers you could not compare the magnitude of the commitment, it was very different, but in the end I ended up accepting, since then my life changed, that fact marked a before and after for me, the fact of sharing with the children, knowing their stories, I could understand that the world was different ...hard in many occasions even from a very young age.
It was not only a question of the blows of adulthood, from seeing them eating food, interacting in playful pedagogical activities with so much illusion when they saw the materials, playing with legos with which they were possibly playing for the first time in their lives, to the first sneaker that I tied for them at some point that they needed, I began to observe, feel and value life from many aspects. She had to move some time later for family reasons, we made a good team, we established a great friendship, it was impossible for me not to remember the magnitude of her vocation to serve,
Such was that integral experience that I lived, that same feeling of caring for the welfare of children that she shared with me since I met her was planted in me, the same that I keep today, because of the above I decided to undertake a personal project believes the foundation and the first program I called "CENA NUTRITIVA" which is currently operating, It is the first headquarters that the foundation has, a cheerful, colorful, functional headquarters that is called Kids Diapa Foundation (KIDS/NIÑOS DIOS APADRINA), where I had no limitations on devising and structuring a program for children of vulnerable population regardless of their nationality to access excellent care and quality nutrition services and psychosocial development.
